Protect Our WaterWays acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters where we live, work, and campaign—across lutruwita/Tasmania. We pay deep respect to the palawa & pakana peoples, their enduring connection to Sea Country, and their care for the lands, rivers, and coasts we strive to protect.

We honour Elders past and present, and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
